Delayed Onset of Malignant Hyperthermia in the Intensive Care Unit

Abstract: Malignant hyperthermia (MH) has been described as a rare inherited autosomal dominant metabolic syndrome triggered in patients after exposure to certain inhalation anesthetics and depolarizing muscle relaxants.
