Abstract:INTRODUCTION: Antineoplastic agent-induced interstitial pneumonitis is a potentially lethal adverse event for which glucocorticoids are a treatment option although no studies have been conducted that demonstrate benefit. We describe a patient who developed delayed and lethal trastuzumab-related interstitial pneumonitis.
