Delocalized hole transport coupled to sub-ns tryptophanyl deprotonation promotes photoreduction of class II photolyases

Abstract: Ultrafast photoreduction of class II photolyases: the delocalized oxidation hole precedes distal tryptophanyl deprotonation and tyrosine oxidation.
