Demonstration of LED distortion mitigation for Vehicular VLC Systems using DNNs

Abstract: <p>In this paper, we present a hardware implementation of a Deep Neural Network (DNN) based receiver for Vehicular Visible Light Communication (VVLC) application. The presented system can combat the effects such as non-linear behavior, attenuation at higher frequencies, ambient noise, and property differences observed in high-power Commercial-off-the-shelf Light Emitting Diodes (LED).</p>
