Density (ρ), speed of sound (u) and viscosity (η) have been measured for the binary liquid mixtures of p-chloroacetophenone with n-propanol, n-butanol, n-pentanol at all temperature range from 303.15 K to 318.15 K. From this experimental data, excess molar volume (v E ), deviation in viscosity (∆η), deviation in isentropic compressibility (∆ks) and excess Gibbs energy of activation of viscous flow (G* E ) have been calculated and fitted to Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. These excess parameters, reveals that there is a strong interaction between the unlike molecules. The analyzed viscosity data of binary liquid mixtures were used to test the Grunberg-Nissan, Katti chaudari and Hind semi-empirical equations.
