Abstract:Emergency conditions are situations in which the lives of patients are endangered in whom therapy should be given immediately upon the onset of symptoms. The majority of emergency conditions in dental practice can be controlled by usual therapeutic procedures, and such conditions do not disturb the vital functions of the organism for a shorter period. Every dental professional must be familiar with the possible complications that can occur in the dental practice, as well as their management.
