Depletion Experiences and Modeling of Mixed-Porosity, Fractured, Cavernous Reservoirs in Hungary

Abstract

Publications are relatively sparse about the analysis and modeling of mfxed porosity, fractured karstic reservoir /MPFKR/. The oil field Nagylengyel is of such type. To estimate the texture /structure/of the field some probability model was developed. By the application of the model the water driven primary depletion and the depletion by a secondary gas cap could be followed up rather well, showing results corresponding to the pilot plant and field tests.
