Deposition process of an epilam film during surface plastic deformation

Abstract

The article deals with the conditions of contact between the tool and the nominal surface during surface - plastic processing with balls due to centrifugal force. The dependences reflecting the impact of the oblique impact of the ball on the surface are given. It has been established that the deformation process can be significantly influenced by the epilamic coating of the working elements of the tool, which significantly changes the energies of the interaction of the contacting surfaces.
