Depreciation and Trade Deficits in India: Problems of Foreign Exchange and Domestic Industrialisation Base

Abstract: The present article develops an argument in which depreciating Indian rupee is basically due to underdeveloped status of domestic production base that is reflected in continuing trade deficits.
