The peculiar features of the poetry have been analyzed. A special attention is given to the creative works of Fakhriyor, which are characterized by using pictorial forms and different stylistic means. The poetry of the period of Independence is distinguished both by harmony of western and oriental influence, which illustrates the uniqueness of creations of this period. The positive influence of western traditions on the development and renovations of the Uzbek poetry during the years of Independence has become of paramount importance. As professor Q. Yuldoshev cites "One can saturate with the structure, lacking of punctuation marks, and the poetry full of abstract associative images, and the imaginative sublime world coming upon the Earth, and the symbolic signs, which are called poetic mimes, and the impressions by meditative samples of poetry, so that it will be possible to form the skills to evaluate them" (Yo'ldosh, 2006:80-81).The Uzbek poetry of the Independence period as the artistic-esthetic phenomenon has been increased to the new level, bringing readers to the deep reflections, awakening the intellectual arguments and profound analyses of the different layers of the word meaning. As it is known, the 80ss of the XX century became famous for the modernistic description of colours, while the XXI century was distinguished by pictorial forms of poetry.
