Depth and breadth of Canadian military, Veteran and family research: The first decade of Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research Forums

Abstract

I am delighted to introduce the first volume of the Canadian Institute of Military and Veterans Health Research (CIMVHR) collective, Shaping the Future: Military and Veteran Health Research. This book represents the most current research being conducted across Canada on issues of military and veteran health. It provides a snapshot of the military health services, challenges, and research programs that are guiding the Canadian Forces' future strategic direction for military health -compiling the relevant health-related material that will be of use to active and veteran Canadian Forces personnel and their families.
