Depth Estimation of Sound Images Using Directional Clustering and Activation-Shared Nonnegative Matrix Factorization

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new depth estimation method that utilizes the variation of the direction of arrival (DOA) of individual sound sources. In addition, we propose activationshared nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) as a feature extraction method. The result of an experiment indicated the efficacy of the proposed method.
