Abstract:Systemic drugs may have unfavourable effects on intraocular pressure, glaucoma and the efficacy of glaucoma drugs. The article provides a review of the literature from PubMed and clinical experience. Topical and systemic corticosteroids induce complex changes inside the trabecular meshwork.
