“…Morphologically similar forms, which had been described under different designations, were combined in the 'Plagiorchis maculosus group' by Odening (1959) and Krasnolobova (1977). The life-cycle of P. maculosus was investigated by NOller & UUrich (1927) and Strenzke (1952) in Germany and by Angel (1959) in Australia, but more details for the characterization of the larvae are needed. This problem might be solved by comparison of the developmental stages which are, however, in most cases unknown.…”
