Abstract:Results: There were 43 male 20 female patients. The submandibular space was the most frequent location (49%) followed by the parapharyngeal space (36%). All the patients were taken to intravenous antibiotic therapy and an additional drainage in 10 patients (16%) were also carried out. One patient was died from septicemia.
Conclusion:Patients who receive an appropriate medical treatment immediately after the diagnosis of deep neck infection.
