This research sought to understand the transformations that occurred in private higher education institutions in Brazil during the pandemic period and the impacts perceived after this and the same period, and was extracted from research carried out on the "Strategic transformations in private higher education institutions in Brazil during the COVID-19 pandemic", which is justified due to its social and current relevance, and it is necessary to investigate the changes that occurred in these organizations during this adversity. During the development of the research, a bibliographical research was carried out and an investigation instrument was applied to 114 educational managers from higher education institutions in all regions of Brazil. To analyze data, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were applied. Qualitative variables were presented by distribution of absolute and relative frequencies. Quantitative variables were presented by measures of central tendency and variation. The results indicated that there were transformations in areas of the organization such as academic, financial, planning and management, and that this transformation occurred in the institution as a whole. However, one sector that stood out during this period was technology, as the adjustments that would be brought about over several years naturally, had to occur abruptly and often without technical knowledge and labor. Another point to highlight was the restructuring of technological tools, in which the majority of those surveyed reported that they agreed that there had been a major change in this regard.
