Abstract: Los problemas regionales y territoriales, en general, han ocupado con frecuencia una posición importante en las preocupaciones de los investigadores vinculados al ámbito de las ciencias sociales. “…The Revista de Economía de Galicia constituted a critical milestone in the diffusion of the modern economic thinking concerning regional economic development, especially when the centralised point of view of the Franco's regime Somehow, the emergence of this Galician economic journal should be framed in a general Spanish context characterised by an increasing relevance of regional economic analyses in academic spheres since the 1950s and 1960s (Cuadrado Roura, 2006).
