Description of a New Species of Stenocrates Burmeister (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Cyclocephalini) from Peru

Abstract

A new species of Stenocrates Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Cyclocephalini) from Peru is described: Stenocrates lissothorax Ratcliffe and Figueroa. A description, diagnosis, distribution, and illustrations of the new species are provided. This represents the 52 nd species in the genus, and the 15 th species known from Peru.
