Abstract:Description of Eocader major n. sp. of Phatnomatini, with brief bionomic and taxonomic commentaries of other South American species of the tribe and of Stenocader (Cantacaderinae: Carldrakeanini) (Heteroptera: Tingidae). A new species, Eocader major n. sp., from Misiones, Argentina, is described. The generic status of Pampacader is also discussed.
