Description of Medicinal Herb, Perfume Ginger: Hedychium spicatum (Zingiberales: Zingiberaceae)

Abstract: Background: H. Spicatum is referred to locally as Gulbakawali or butterfly lily and maycontain medicinal chemicals. It is a member of the Zingiberaceae family. This plant most likelyoriginated in the Himalayas.
