Abstract:A chiral magnetic catalyst, L-Co (II) -γ-Fe 2 O 3 , was prepared by complexing a chiral Schiff base ligand containing an ionic liquid to cobalt chloride and then stabilizing the complex on γ-Fe 2 O 3 nanoparticles.The catalyst and ligand were characterized using HNMR, CNMR, CHN, EDX, SEM, UV-Vis, ICP, TGA, VSM, FT-IR, and XRD analyses.
