Design and analysis of a novel flux-modulated permanent magnet linear generator with sandwiched armature stator

Abstract: This paper proposes a novel flux-modulated permanent magnet(PM) linear generator with sandwiched armature stator, which can achieve high thrust force density and fast response for free-piston energy converter.
