Design and analysis of microstrip antenna with zig-zag feeder for wireless communication applications

Abstract: This paper is presented a microstrip antenna with a zig-zag feeder for wireless communication, it has a wideband frequency spectrum (2-14) GHz. The proposed antenna is designed with a zig zag feed line which gave a wideband frequency and acceptable gain (7.448-5.928) dB, this antenna has zig zag slots printed in the ground plane on a lower side of the dielectric substrate, a certain form tuning stub is used to increase the matching between the feeder in the top layer of the substrate and ground plane in the bo… Show more

“…Finally, failure to strike the correct balance between exploration and exploitation has a negative impact on accuracy and speed. Additionally, there is a lack of early integration and a lack of variety in population [5]. The chaos theory is basically used to examine the behavior of certain aspects which are to the critical condition.…”

“…The majority of the newest detection systems are based on UWB technology. UWB is a broadband technology with a frequency spectrum of (3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz) that was authorized in 2002 by the "Federal Communications Committee" (FCC) [6], [7]. Numerous attributes, including wide bandwidth, high data speed and good penetration ability have led to the adoption of UWB technology [8], [9].…”

“…Nowadays, the wideband antennas are widely used as an enormous application in wireless communication systems due to its higher impedance bandwidth and simple structure [1]. Consequently, the ultra wideband (UWB) technology is considered as the significant solution for future wireless communication based on its huge frequency spectrum from 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz [2]- [4]. In developing the communication system, the antenna is required to be designed with less power consumption, inexpensive, low profile, lesser complexity, higher precision ranging, light weight, and ease of implementation [5]- [7].…”
