Design and Control of a Photonic Neural Network Applied to High-Bandwidth Classification

Abstract: Neural networks can very effectively perform multidimensional nonlinear classification. However, electronic networks suffer from significant bandwidth limitations due to carrier lifetimes and capacitive coupling.
