“…The native microalgae isolate PA4 was selected for most efficient performance in nutrient removal, COD removal, biomass production, and lower incubation time. [ 34 ] Fourteen freshwater and seawater microalgal strains were screened for lipid production, cell fragility for wet extraction, and triacylglycerols (TAG) recovery, using a 1 L flat‐panel PBR and Parachlorella kessleri UTEX2229 and Nannochloropsis gaditana CCMP527 were selected as the most suitable freshwater and seawater strains, respectively.
