et al.

Abstract: Wheat sowing has the characteristics of wide and short sowing periods, and there are situations in which the suitable sowing period is missed. In order to meet the needs of high-speed sowing, a centrifugal wheat strip seeding device was designed, the principle of which is that rotating parts were mainly composed of centrifugal concave plate and guide strip rotating in the shell to provide the mechanical force and drive the airflow and then realize high-speed seeding. The influence of the rotational speed of th… Show more

“…Researchers combine theoretical analysis and experimental data to carry out structural improvement and optimization designs of different structural types of seed metering devices such as mechanical, pneumatic, and centrifugal types, and they obtain the optimal operating parameters through simulation methods such as finite element and discrete element analysis to achieve high-speed seeding with a low breakage rate. By introducing intelligent control algorithms such as information-sensing fusion technology and adaptive fuzzy PID, the accuracy of the seeding volume has been significantly improved compared with traditional control methods, and the efficiency of precision seeding has been greatly improved [9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]. However, the current seed box capacity of wheat seeders is limited and cannot meet the needs of continuous operation in large areas.…”

“…Statsenko et al [36] experimentally investigated the performance of a disk dispenser for bulk materials. An et al [37] modeled in Ansys Fluent the flight of grains from a disk-wicking device depending on the technical and technological parameters of the disk. Symons [38] studied the flow of wet granular material along the inner surface of a conical disk during its rotation and modeled the trajectories of the grain depending on its moisture content.…”
