Abstract:Hybrid DOEs, which are diffraction pattern arrays fabricated on curved refractive optical elements, have the ability to widen the field of view angle, and improve optical performance and make a compat imaging optics, by combining refraction and diffraction. However, manufacturing a high resolution diffraction pattern array is challenging. We provides a method to manufacture hybrid DOEs with wider field of view and superior performance in both diffraction efficiency and resolution.
