“…In this work an specific test bench for turbocharger testing is presented and detailed in Section 2, the main difference in this bench with respect to others [17,20,[33][34][35][36] is that it is an experimental device capable of reproducing, with real exhaust gas mass flow, the flow conditions at the turbine and compressor inlet quite close to the existing when they are placed in an internal combustion engine. Furthermore, turbochargers can be tested under highly controlled conditions, making it possible to change each mass flow property independently, such as turbine inlet mass flow temperature or pressure pulses frequency and amplitude.…”
