Abstract:A 22-43 GHz tunable bandstop filter is presented, with relevant background theory, design methodology explained. The filter employs silicon-micromachined evanescent-mode cavity resonators, tuned by low-power electrostatic actuators. Low passband of insertion loss of less than 2 dB is obtained, and high stopband attenuation of over 60 dB is achieved by using quasiabsorptive filter design principles. Further reconfigurability is added by utilizing intrinsically-switched coupling elements, which allow the bandsto… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
