Starting from the necessity and principles of database design, this article explores the optimization issues. Firstly, analyze the necessity of database design, elaborating on effective management, maintainability, resource utilization, and running speed; Then, a series of issues in database management were discussed, such as user management, data object design specifications, and overall design ideas; Finally, the optimization issues such as normalization rules, inter table redundancy handling, query optimization, indexing, and transactions were elaborated in detail. In the software development lifecycle, database design is indispensable. Its role is not only to ensure the safety and reliability of data, but also to ensure the overall stability and speed of the system. Strengthening the rationality and optimization of design is the key to improving software quality.

With the diversified development of network teaching in modern higher vocational education, the importance of network virtual teaching environment for the success rate of traditional culture course teaching is increasingly apparent, which has also attracted great attention from academia and industry. However, at present, limited by many factors, such as serious network teaching mode, low interest of learners, low professional relevance and so on, the problem of low success rate of network virtual teaching environment-assisted teaching is more prominent. Firstly, based on the background of modern digital age, this paper makes a wide search and collation of related theories. On this basis, taking the improvement of the teaching content of Liang Ping's New Year Pictures as a case, this paper studies the application of teaching games in traditional culture courses by using the methods of practical investigation, empirical research and functional analysis. The research shows that the optimization of teaching methods can better realize the teaching auxiliary function of network virtual teaching environment, help to improve the cultural quality of learners in higher vocational colleges in China and promote the goal of cultural inheritance and development. However, the all-round popularization of cultural inheritance and development of higher vocational college students needs further scientific and technological development and continuous improvement of teaching resources.

Two-dimensional textbook cannot show the three-dimensional effect of solid geometry. For many middle school students who lack three-dimensional space thinking, a teaching assistance system that can vividly display three-dimensional geometry and interact with it is essential. In recent years, the introduction of augmented reality technology into education and teaching has attracted much attention from the industry. However, the existing augmented reality teaching assistance system either does not support interaction, resulting in poor teaching effect; Or they need to wear VR devices to achieve interaction, resulting in excessive physical burden on students and affecting the learning experience; Or an app-based approach, which requires downloading before it can be used, is difficult to widely serve students. In response to the above problems, this paper completed the system design by combining web technology and augmented reality technology, and realized real-time interaction between human hands and virtual three-dimensional geometry, solving the problem of weak interactivity of traditional augmented reality teaching assistance systems. Finally, through a questionnaire survey, the user experience of this system is compared with that of traditional textbooks, and the results show that this system has a better learning experience.
