Design and implementation of real time wideband channel simulator

Abstract: This paper describes the design and implementation of a DSP based real time wideband channel simulator. The simulator implementation uses a floating point (TMS320C6713) and a fixed point (TMS320C6416) DSPs.The simulator has 8 taps and baseband bandwidth of 20 MHz. It has flexibility to generate several channel models under varied environmental conditions.
