Design and measured performance of an 8×8 dual polarised aperture-coupled microstrip patch phased array

Abstract: The paper presents an efficient and accurate design of phased arrays of aperture-cupled rnco strp patch elements under consideration of the mutual coupling and the finiteness of the array. The predicted performance of an 8x8 element and an 8x8 elemnent antenna array for radr applications in C-band are presented and compared with measuremnts.
