The parameters of impellers and the pump housing as key assembly to differential velocity vane pump of eccentric-noncircular gears has been designed in this paper. By researching vane spacing angles, vane numbers, vane angle and maximal opening angle on impellers, the results are gained that vane spacing angles are the periodic function of noncircular gear angular velocity, vane numbers is identical with centrodes vane numbers of noncircular gear. Assuring right and reliable working to the impellers, numbers, positions and opening angles of the matching holes of the pump housing are analyzed; defining that actual impeller vane angle must be less-than theoretical value, numbers of the matching holes must be vane numbers and opening angles of the matching holes must be less-than theoretical value, which provide the condition for concrete structure design for differential velocity vane pump of eccentric-noncircular gears.

Active combustion control (ACC) technology is an effective measure for suppressing the combustion oscillation of aero-engines. The magnetostrictive actuator is the most suitable choice for the ACC actuator due to its excellent high-frequency characteristics and high-temperature resistance. For the magnetostrictive actuator to produce high-frequency displacement, the constant current driver must have sufficient power, which increased its mass. A solution is to use multi-channel and low-power constant current driver. Therefore, the coil of the magnetostrictive actuator is axially dispersed and driven by two four-channel servo amplifiers. The driver's mass is significantly reduced while maintaining the same electromagnetic conversion effect. In addition, an analytical model of a discrete coil magnetostrictive actuator is established, and a series of experiments are conducted. The maximum hysteresis error of output displacement at 200 Hz is reduced by 15.2%. Furthermore, under PID closed-loop control, the root mean square (RMS) error is less than 2% when tracking a 10 Hz sinusoidal displacement with coil switching drive.

To meet the requirements of variable input current forms, microstep adjustment, low error coefficient, high output linearity, and the low ripple of macro–microcomposite actuators developed by combining voice coil motors and a giant magnetostrictive actuator, in this study, a design scheme of dual-mode precise programmable current sources based on a field programmable gate array (FPGA) was proposed. First, according to the working principle and control characteristics of macro–microcomposite drivers, an overall circuit system model of a driving power supply was established. Second, based on the circuit operational amplifier principle, an output current equation of the power supply was obtained, and a current switching circuit and a dual-mode current sampling circuit were designed. Finally, an FPGA was used as the current control core, and an incremental PI algorithm was introduced to compensate for the current feedback. The experimental results showed that the precision current source can output two current modes (positive current 0–5 A and positive and negative current −5 to 5 A) under the FPGA control. The average current error coefficient of the output in the two current output modes was ε ≦ 0.006, the maximum nonlinearity was ηmax ≦ 0.005, and the error between the current adjusting step value and the preset value was less than 1%.
