Design and Testing of a 500 lbf Liquid Oxygen/Liquid Methane Engine

Abstract

I would like to acknowledge Dr. Ahsan Choudhuri and Dr. Jack Chessa for their continued guidance and support throughout my research at the Center for Space Exploration and Technology Research (cSETR). Their genuine care for student success and professional development is unparalleled by any other organization. I would also like to acknowledge and extend my gratitude to Ms. Luz Bugarin, Ms. Gloria Salas, the entire cSETR staff, and to all the LOX/LCH4 team members for their continued support throughout my research. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge one of my closest mentors: Mr. Charles Hill. Mr. Hill has been a grand asset to me and has always provided me with genuine advice, support, and has undoubtedly aided in my development as an engineer.
