Abstract: Magneto-optical (M-O) crystals, with their large Faraday effects, low absorption coefficients, and high magnetic permeabilities, are widely used in the fields of optical modulators, isolators, phase shifters, optical switches, optical storage devices, optical displays, and laser gyroscopes.
