Abstract:This paper presents a rectangular microstrip patch antenna designed to operate at a frequency of 2.6348 GHz. The antenna is equipped with a U-slot and horizontal slot to mitigate cross-polarization effectively. By strategically placing the U-slot on the radiating patch and incorporating a horizontal slot on the patch, the antenna achieves enhanced radiation characteristics.
