Design of a High Performance Mid-IR Fiber Laser Based on Pr3+-Doped Fluoroindate Glass

Abstract: In this work, a novel continuous wave fiber laser, pumped at 𝝀 𝒑 = πŸπŸ“πŸ“πŸŽ π’π’Ž and emitting at 𝝀 𝒔 = πŸ’ ππ’Ž, has been designed and optimized. It is based on a step-index, doublecladding, praseodymium-doped fluoroindate glass fiber, available on market, having dopant concentration 𝑡 𝑷𝒓 = πŸ–πŸŽπŸŽπŸŽ π’‘π’‘π’Ž.
