Elderly is a period characterized by limited movement functions in the body. Elderly with multiple comorbidities have a higher risk of non-adherence because receiving more than one type of drug is more susceptible to skipping medication hours so that the elderly need reminders and drug storage areas to maintain drug quality. This research was carried out with Arduino Uno as the control center of the system and using the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module for internet connection. This system uses a DHT-22 sensor, an HW-201 IR sensor and a servo motor. Tool standardization is also carried out through method validation adapting ISO 17025 and network-related Quality of Service (QoS). The results show that the system can work according to the command with an alarm notification on the android application when the clock shows the time to take medicine. Based on the DHT 22 sensor test, by measuring the temperature and humidity, the bias value is 0.318% and the trueness value is 99.7%. This Medical Box tool also has an acceptance limit precision of 83%. Based on the QoS network testing according to THIPON, the network quality is categorized as very good for throughput of 5241 Kbps, packet loss of 0%, delay of 136.5 msec, and jitter of 21.28 which are categorized as very good. This study designed a system to make it easier for the elderly as a reminder of the schedule for taking medication as well as a place to store drugs that can maintain the quality of drugs

The fundamental reason for the venture “INTELLIGENT MEDICINE BOX” is to propose the essential thought of programmed medication update, which will help patients take their recommended medication suitably with appropriate dosages. It is a clever plan to help the patient take as much time as is needed and, thus, lessen an opportunity to recuperate from their infection. Specifically, the matured patient takes some unacceptable medication and some unacceptable measurements mistakenly, causing a serious issue. This framework isn’t only useful for an individual but can likewise make a significant commitment to medical clinics. In the present occupied, pushed, and booked life, individuals are experiencing loads of illnesses but can’t recall their medication and timing of it, and here this framework can be of genuine use. This project utilizes an LCD, ARDUINO module, RTC module. AS per the odder gadgets, this smart medicine box is planned in light of a lower cost. Thus, this convenient and monetarily cheaper framework would be useful to each age group

Social distancing guidelines have been imposed to slow the pandemic of Corona virus disease (COVID-19), relieves pressure on medical system, and prevents deaths. Thus, social distancing between healthcare workers and patients is highly important in order to limit the virus transmission. So, the main aim of this paper is to increase social distancing between healthcare workers and patients by developing an automated overbed delivery table, able to move in the hospital room between all entities using some wireless communication devices. In addition, the table will be able to sanitize itself before reaching the worker and the patient. This table serves, other than the delivery of food and drinks to the patient, in controlling the medication intake due to an advanced medication box placed on the table where the healthcare provider can put the medication and set the time required to take them. Two compatible remote controls are designed to serve both patients and healthcare provider. The system's performance was carefully evaluated and successfully tested. The results have shown an accurate tracking for the predefined track, no faulty errors detected, on-time sanitizing and great precision concerning the detection of the medication as well as the required timing.
