Abstract:In this article, a wideband planar printed pattern-reconfigurable antenna built on rotating dipole radiation arms is proposed. Eight PIN diodes and three DC controlling voltages are utilized to switch three working states for generating multi-beam. Two parasitic grounding strips are employed to widen impedance bandwidth and enhance pattern offset directivity. By optimizing rotation angles of the radiation rams, desired wideband characteristics are achieved.Measured results show that the 10-dB impedance operati… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
