The design and construction of a multi-drink vending machine is the primary goal of this little project. This machine's function is to offer people a wide variety of goods, including water, drinks, coffee, tea, etc. A machine that can sell things is a vending machine.Different products are being produced in what is more akin to an automated process without the need for man handling that we typically see in busy cities. These systems are now accessible in some of the best-rated restaurants and hotels in India as well as MNCs. In most systems the operation are carried manually by the operator in which the billing and change making is carried out by the \sowner who running the shop or restaurant. There are strict requirements for interactive gadgets used in public settings, including user-friendly interfaces. This model's vending machine is made using plywood, fevicol gum, a DC motor, and other materials. batteries, etc.

With the continuous development of China's economy and the improvement of residents' living standards, it also brings increasing costs of labor and rent. In addition, the impact of the pandemic on the entity industry has brought opportunities for the development of new retail models. Based on the booming development of artificial intelligence, big data, and mobile payment in the new era, the new retail industry using artificial intelligence technology has shown outstanding performance in the market. Among them, intelligent vending machines have emerged in the new retail model. In order to provide users with a good shopping experience, the product detection speed and accuracy of intelligent vending machines must be high enough. We adopt Faster R-CNN, a mature object detection algorithm in deep learning, to solve the commodity settlement scenario of intelligent vending machines.

A través del desarrollo de un proyecto de investigación académico, se planteó involucrar a tres actores de la sociedad como son el estado, la academia y el sector productivo (sector terciario, el comercio al detal), con la intención de incluir también a la sociedad para resolver la problemática real de una Mipyme tipo granero en el municipio de Tuluá, Colombia. Lo anterior, basado en la aplicación de los modelos de triple y cuádruple hélice que buscan el desarrollo científico y tecnológico de una sociedad para conseguir un bienestar general y sostenible en el tiempo. A través de la observación no estructurada, la revisión de documentos y entrevistas abiertas con el gerente y empleados de la Mipyme, se recolectaron los datos relacionados con las características de la misma. Con base en lo anterior, se estableció la problemática actual y se estudió la solución que mejor se adaptara a las necesidades y requerimientos de la empresa. Luego, se diseñó y desarrolló la máquina dispensadora de cajetillas de cigarrillos. La medición del tiempo de despacho y atención al cliente, así como el control de productos extraviados, permitieron verificar eficiencia de la máquina. Se demostró, mediante el diseño y el desarrollo de la maquina dispensadora, que la interrelación y la cooperación academia-empresa-estado-personas es factible y útil para resolver los problemas reales de las organizaciones. Así mismo, se evidenció la necesidad de mayor participación de la sociedad civil, así como de lograr la sostenibilidad en el tiempo de la cooperación academia-empresa-estado y sociedad.
