Abstract:Ground facility for hypersonic research is a key element for successful development of aerodynamically proven hypervelocity vehicles. Design concept and diagnostics of hypervelocity flow generator (HFG) were made as a test platform for hypersonic/hypervelocity spacecraft models at NASA Langley Research Center.
