Design of Intelligent Monitoring System of Chicken House Environment Based on Single-chip Microcomputer

Abstract: In view of the problem that some chicken farms are susceptible to various bacteria and viruses due to poor breeding environment, this paper designs a chicken house environmental intelligent monitoring system based on single-chip microcomputer application to improve the chicken house environment. The system adopts STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer as the main control chip. The sensor collects information on the light intensity, temperature and humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration, and controls the exhaus… Show more

“…By leveraging the intelligent control system, the magnitude of humidity fluctuations within the pig house was reduced, effectively mitigating constraints on pig growth caused by significant environmental humidity variations. In this section, we compared the temperature anomaly time inside the pig house using the control system proposed in this paper with a traditional threshold-based system [33]. In different animal husbandry buildings, the threshold of the control system will vary depending on the animals being raised.…”

“…This process steadily reduces indoor air humidity until it reaches the preset level, at which point the dehumidification unit ceases operation. Furthermore, Du et al [33] developed an intelligent monitoring system for chicken houses. This system continuously monitors real-time temperature fluctuations within the chicken house.…”

“…Therefore, the original manual control method has been replaced by various intelligent systems. Scholars have begun to use microcontrollers and the Internet of Things [17][18][19][20] to directly control the environment of livestock and poultry houses. However, such control methods only work when the current environment is detected beyond the set threshold value, and the environment in the pigsty cannot be accurately controlled within a certain range.…”
