“…In addition, the introduction of NiFe 2 O 4 ‐EPCM‐4 also endows MSRFs with smaller pore diameter and higher pore density as confirmed by optical microscope observation (Figure 4), which can increase the difficulty of deformation during compression. [ 45 ] Therefore, it can be considered that the above factors can effectively improve the compressive properties of composite MSRFs.…”

[45] Therefore, it can be considered that the above factors can effectively improve the compressive properties of composite MSRFs. From the above analysis, it can be seen that MSRF-3 presents the highest enthalpy, excellent thermal reliability, enhanced thermal stability, and outstanding mechanical properties.…”

“…The XL samples exhibited high stiffness because of their enhanced crystallinity through crosslinking and cryomilling; crosslinking has previously been shown to make PLA stiffer [ 53 ]. However, the XL sample’s stress-strain curve had a lower slope than the SSSP and cryomill stress-strain plots perhaps due to the open-cell nature of the crosslinked foam [ 71 ].…”

“…Because supercritical CO 2 (scCO 2 ) foaming does not release any toxic gas, this foaming process and its product are safer and more environmentally friendly than conventional chemical foaming . Moreover, the cellular structure of the polymer foam prepared by scCO 2 could be easily manipulated by controlling foaming parameters or adding fillers. Although the technology of preparing high-porosity thermoplastic foams using scCO 2 has been quite common, the use of this green foaming method for silicone rubber foam has only been reported in the last decade, and it is still a challenge to obtain a high-porosity silicone rubber foam. For one thing, the diffusion coefficient of CO 2 in silicone rubber is much higher than that in other polymers, and the gas escape would be prompt during the foaming process.…”
