Abstract: A miniaturized and high‐gain dielectric lens antenna is presented and demonstrated. The dielectric lens antenna is mainly composed of a spherical dielectric lens, a pedestal, and a radiating element. The spherical dielectric lens is made of a special material called cross‐linked styrene co‐polymer showing an ultra‐low dielectric loss and a stable permittivity.
