Due to the lack of equipment to monitor the status of patients in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) in Health Centers, there are patients who enter the Emergency Area every day at any time in search of medical attention. They form queues outside the hea lth centers, waiting for a quick response to determine if it is Urgent or Emergency. The wait they do in the queues requires a control and taking of their vital signs to order and monitor patients for Urgency or Emergency. Patients who are critical, at risk, in a coma, patients with terminal illness and who require care and life expectancy are perceived. Noting this scenario, the objective of this study is to design a robot that provides a solution to monitor patients, thus avoiding crowds. The methodology has been applied in a structured way using engineering principles to perform the system analysis. The results show that such a robot can send patient data and vital signs by text messages (SMS), using the Internet of Things and embedded systems. It is concluded that it is necessary to inno va te with technology to organize and avoid crowds, as well as to monitor vital signs through a system that offers reliability and viability.
