Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a switching technology. MPLS-TP is a progressive version of MPLS in the field of packet switched data network. MPLS-TP is a high-end technology which implements network methodologies in a transport layer. For managing virtual private network(VPN) services, MPLS is of developing enthusiasm to the service providers (SPs) and furthermore to VPN customers. MPLS-enabled routers allot a few labels to the packets, and in view of these allocated labels it produces sending decisions. The prime expectation after the MPLS technology is to eliminate the need of OSI model data link layered (layer-2) technology i.e. frame relay, Ethernet, asynchronous transfer mode (ATM). This paper gives data about the components of Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), correlation of MPLS with traditional Routing and Packet Switching, MPLS label format and MPLS operation.

To develop and implement a Virtual Local Area Network by using sub-netting and to find the optimized IP depended on host number. When a company purchases web hosting from Internet Service Provide they will purchase several static addresses. As a result an automated system to store the information about assigned IP address and solve the problem. The main objective is to develop and discuss about the various Internet Service Provider (ISP) and securing the network by using Network Address Translator (NAT) and Access Control list (ACL). Static routes or a direct connection to the destination network i.e. a router might be running both an Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) process and a Routing Information Protocol (RIP) process. If the OSPF protocol is advertised to optimize the routes by RIP protocol, it is said to be redistributing RIP. The detailed information about the Dynamic protocols such as RIP, OSPFv3, EIGRP etc.., its standards, functionality and internetworking issues in the networking domain are observed and troubleshoot the problems in the internetwork connectivity using the CISCO routers and end devices and hence to design a simple network with tool with multiple routing protocols in IPv6 domain and redistribute for end-to-end communication.

Advancement in technology comes with several opportunities and issues. Organizations are able to move their businesses online to reach a greater number of potential customers. Security and privacy in cyberspace are posing a threat to organizations due to establishment of communication links. These connections are based on trust relationships, where resources are permitted to be accessed from one party or the other, it is critical to implement the necessary security measures such that, these established communication links will not be used as a conduit for exploitation. This paper proposes the use of cryptography (IPsec) and its proper implementation to secure virtual communication links over the internet. The objective is to illustrate effective implementation of IPsec to secure L2L (LAN-to-LAN) or S2S (Site-to-Site) communication between systems hosted at two different organizations to promote security. We answer these questions: Is IPsec able to secure traffic between two endpoints over the internet? Is it possible to send traffic not permitted to go through the VPN to reach systems at either side of the VPN tunnel? Proposed model encrypts the entire communication link and any data sent through it. It further guarantees only the nodes permitted to exchange information can communicate over such links.
