Most trainer module equipped a system error simulator (Fault Simulator), to activate the fault simulator the instructor must press a button that will bring up a certain type of fault that the trainer wants to simulate, then students will analyze the source of the error and fix it. The weakness of this trainer is that teachers must press a button on the trainer when they want to change the fault simulator in front of students so that participants will know which type of fault simulator is being run without troubleshooting. If this happens, the teaching objectives are not achieved so that the teaching process using this trainer becomes less effective. To overcome this problem, a remote-control prototype for trainers was designed consisting of an infrared (IR) based transmitter and receiver. To facilitate integration of the fault simulator module, the IR Transmitter and IR Receiver will communicate serially. From the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the designed remote-control prototype for trainers is functioning properly. IR transmitter and IR receiver can communicate serially using infrared media. This remote-control prototype has an optimal distance in the range of 0-5 m.

Engineering education is an important part of preparing quality graduates for the challenges of the Covid-19 and post-pandemic conditions, and electronics engineering education is no exception. Blended learning-based projects as an alternative to innovative learning at this time. This study aims to explore and explain the application of blended learning-based projects in electronics engineering education courses. The research method used is a project-based product design and development carried out by blended learning. We conduct our project activities in higher education special students from Electronic Engineering Education that take part in the learning of this project. Students who participate are only limited to small groups to avoid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 1 small group consisting of 3-5 people and there is 1 group leader who manages the work, while other members are supportive and help complete joint projects. The results of this study show the ability of students to work by implementing project-based learning in producing products, namely Exhaust Fan products based on Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) as a form of a mini prototype that can be used for small household scale industries. The ability of students to work on product manufacturing by applying the principles of project-based learning in the category already has the ability to, skilled and thoroughly working on the project that was planned until it succeeded in becoming a product prototype which was carried out in project-based blended learning.

In the current Covid-19 transition period, innovations in early childhood learning models are needed that are effectively used. The many models of early childhood learning during this pandemic need to be studied further which are appropriate for implementation. This study aims to empirically verify the early childhood learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic and analyze the factors that influence early childhood learning during the Covid-19 period. The method used in writing this article is a systematic literature review, which is a literature search from national article sources conducted using indexed searches on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic. This literature review was conducted using the prism method technique. The articles reviewed are the most recent 50 articles from 2020 to 2021, and the results were sorted into 26 articles. All articles are classified by year of publication, type of indexing journal, method, and early childhood learning model. The results of the study are presented as follows. (1) The search results prove an increase in the number of articles published from 2020-2021. (2) The results of the study show that the most widely used learning model in early childhood learning involves the participation and assistance of parents in children's learning at home through learning media created by teachers and distributed through social media. (3) The obstacles that can be identified are: (a) the role of parents in children's learning during the pandemic is still less than optimal, (b) the lack of mastery of technology skills of students and parents during online learning. So it is necessary to develop an early childhood learning model that can be applied in online implementation, able to facilitate collaboration between parents, teachers, and students.
