Abstract:A recently synthesized photoactive donor named fluorinated thienyl substituted benzodithiophene (DRTB-FT), modified with four novel end capped acceptor molecules, have been investigated through different electrical, quantum and spectrochemical techniques for their enhanced electro-optical and photovoltaic properties.
