Designing Momentums: Site, Practice, Media as Landscape

Abstract: Christina Leigh Geros believes that landscape is more than the land, and that landscape architecture is a process of designing and reconciling disparate ‘momentums’. A tutor in the MA Environmental Architecture programme at the Royal College of Art, research fellow for Monsoon Assemblages at the University of Westminster, and design research strategist for PetaBencana.id, here she explores the expanding of the definition of ‘landscape’ through wider analysis of contemporary media, site and practice.
