Abstract:This review presents a detailed analysis of hydrogeological and hydrochemical conditions of the Niger Delta Basin. Hydrogeologically, the specific capacities recorded from different areas within this Basin vary from 6700 lit/hr/m to 13,500 lit/ hr/m. The water table is very close to the ground surface and varies from 0 to 4 meters.
